ElectriX, a dedicated electric vehicle business created by Allianz – one of the leading worldwide insurance providers, entered a growing but crowded space with a clear mission: to drive the shift to electric vehicles across the UK.

The brief

As a new player with big ambitions, they needed to cut through the noise, make an impact in organic search, and be seen as a go-to authority on the various ways to secure EV ownership, from salary sacrifice schemes to personal and business contract hire.

But there was a big roadblock – a recently launched website, minimal organic visibility, and limited consumer understanding of what made ElectriX different.

What we did

Our approach

We knew that to make ElectriX famous in search, we had to do more than just optimise their site. We had to start to own the conversation around electric vehicles and become a trusted destination for EV advice, insights, and ownership guidance.

A roadmap for organic growth

We kicked off with a comprehensive SEO audit to uncover technical fixes and content gaps. Alongside this we developed a search-driven content strategy tailored to key consumer search behaviours – from ‘EV running costs’ and ‘charging at home’ to niche queries around EV insurance.

Using our proprietary keyword mapping framework, we aligned content to every stage of the customer journey – helping users find answers fast and nudging them toward conversion.

Steering authority with content marketing

We created a high-quality content hub filled with explainers, guides, and trend-led insights – all designed to answer real user questions and build topical authority. Think “cost of owning an EV vs petrol” breakdowns, myth-busting insurance explainers, and even data-led features like a guide to free charging stations across the UK.

Beyond building their brand with topical relevancy, we also helped shape key transactional page templates via our in-house content crits and content that helped ElectriX be found, be first, and be loved.

Our combination of data and insights alongside clever content creation allowed us to drive month on month organic improvements for ElectriX, stealing market share from some much longer established players in the EV market.

The results

In just 6 months, we helped ElectriX achieve:

  • 2,096 keywords improved
  • +20% more clicks
  • +50% more impressions
  • +17% more keywords on page one
  • +85% increase in leads from organic
