About the role
The PR and Digital PR Account Executive will work closely with our News and Outreach Director and Digital PR Director. You will be integral in helping us continue to develop and deliver our ‘always on’ PR approach, with a passion for all things news and a relentless drive to deliver and land coverage for our clients.
You are not afraid of a challenge, and getting stuck in when it comes to helping to create and deliver campaigns.

What you'll be doing
- Deliver consistent, high-quality PR and Digital PR material for your clients, focused on helping them build brand profile, visibility and links
- Organise, prioritise and create various forms of content to drive media profile for your clients, including national, regional and trade press
- Take accountability for media, contacts, relationships, outreach and sell-ins for clients
- Be involved in devising and creating data-driven campaign ideas, alongside your account team
- Maintain a strong knowledge of each client’s industry and hot/trending topics, including editorial tracking via news sources and social media
- Work closely with your team to monitor and be passionate about driving performance to hit client objectives
- Play your part in producing in-depth monthly and quarterly reporting against key objectives – focusing on all the important metrics
- Create and manage insight-led media and influencer lists
- Take a leading roll with news distribution and help ensure your clients land strong media profile using a suite of agency tools
- Have the ability to build mutually positive relationships with clients, establishing a strong rapport with key client contacts
Here's some stuff you'll need
- Proven PR/editorial/digital/news capabilities and a strong command of the English language
- A confident communicator with the ability to work to deadlines
- Experience in agency-side or in-house public relations, content marketing, social media and/or journalism, etc.
- Evidence of landing media profile and coverage for clients, and handling media outreach
- Strong writing skills and a strong news sense, including creating compelling stories and content
Bonus points for any of the following…
- A recognised qualification in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English or a related communications field.
- An understanding of content management systems i.e., WordPress
- Knowledge and/or keen interest in tools to help inform, measure and evaluate campaign success (i.e., Google Analytics etc.), as well as social media marketing (i.e., Metricool), content marketing (i.e. BuzzSumo) and social media platforms (including paid activity for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X etc.).
- A basic understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) including keywords and content design principles
- Proficiency working within a Google Workspace

We’ll provide you with:
- Salary between £20,000 – £26,000 depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing annually to a maximum of 30 days)
- Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the office (around 3-4 days a week during your induction period)
