Who we’re looking for:

Everything we do is rooted in our WIRED values, these are shared by our entire team and help guide us as an agency. It is important that our News and Outreach Manager achieves success through these and their behaviour reflects our values at all times:

We, not I – You are able to lead a culture of energy and collaboration around news and are comfortable leading team training and strategy sessions. You listen and understand the challenges of other team members and take time to help upskill more junior members of the team.

Ideas people – You can proactively identify and put forward creative ideas on how to achieve client objectives. You are happy to suggest new ways of doing things and actively seek inspiration from outside the agency to keep us at the forefront of news and outreach trends.

Results-focused – You are relentlessly focused on achieving client and business objectives and KPIs and focus on achieving results through the highest quality work. You also understand how PR links to client outcomes.

Excellence as standard – You are uncompromising on standards and your attention to detail is second to none. You are comfortable in delivering feedback to the team where this does not hit the mark and will take the time to help coach team members on ways to improve, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Do the right thing – You do the right thing, even when nobody’s watching, because it’s the right thing to do. We can’t teach this one, you either have it or you don’t. You’ll lead by example, communicate with honesty, respect and clarity, championing No Brainer and our collaborative culture, always.

What you’ll get from us

  • Salary £33k-£37k depending on experience
  • 25 days holidays plus bank holidays (increasing each year to a maximum of 30 days)
  • Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the office (this will be 3-4 days a week during your induction period)
  • 5% pension contribution
  • Private healthcare (from 6 months)
  • 5 hours PDP time per month
  • Annual volunteering day
